Congratulations to Jasmine Kauffman on her Silver Medal winning performance at the Covergirl US Challenge in Chicago! Due to her great performance Jasmine has been asked to attend the upcoming developmental camp at the US Training Center at the Karolyi Ranch. Great job to Jazzy as well as David and Laura.
Congratulations to Kaitlin Green for being the 2011 NIT Jr. A National Bar Champion. Kaitlin also won the silver on the Beam and in the All-Around. Congrats on a superb job!

Congratulations to all of the Largo Ladies who are newly crowned State Champions!! Skylar, Alexa, Hannah, Gina, Stella, Heidi, Jenna, and Kaitlin had great performances at the state meet and earned GOLD medals. LaFleur's also qualfied 16 gymnasts to the regional competitions in Atlanta and New Orleans. Congratulations and Good Luck!!

Backhandspring Clinic! LaFleur's now has a special backhandspring clinic on Saturdays starting at 11:15am. The cost is as follows:
For students currently enrolled in LaFleur's classes:
$10 if prepaid by the preceding Friday
$12 the day of the class.
For students not currently enrolled in LaFleur's classes:
$12 if prepaid by the preceding Friday
$14.25 the day of the class
It is only open to the first 8 athletes that register. So sign up today!
Congratulations to the LaFleur's Optional Teams on their results at the Pikes Peak Cup in Colorado last weekend. The Level 8 team took home first and the Level 9 and 10 teams took home second. Check out all of the results here.
Congratulations to the LaFleur's Largo Optional Teams on a great start to the competitive season! The Level 8 team finished 1st, Level 9 and Prep Optional teams finished 2nd, and the Level 10 and Level 7 teams finished 3rd. The Level 7 team has only 3 competitors and competed against teams with up to 18 athletes and our 3 little amigas finished 3rd! A remarkable performance. A BIG congratulations to LaFleur's own Jasmine Kauffman on becoming a National TOPS Team Member. Jasmine competed against the best 10 year olds in the country and earned a spot on the National Team. Jasmine will head back to the Karolyi Ranch in December for a training camp with the National Staff. Congrats Jazzy we are very proud of you!

Congratulations to LaFleur's Level 10 gymnasts, Jaime Applefield & Sarena Bumbarger for signing their national letters of intent this past week. Jaime will be attending Bowling Green State University and Sarena will be attending Michigan State University on a full gymnastics scholarship beginning fall of 2010. LaFleurs Level 10 gymnast Sarena Bumbarger, has committed to a full athletic scholarship to attend Michigan State University. Sarena will compete on their gymnastics team in the fall of 2010 and can't wait to be a Spartan! Congratulations to Sarena, her family, and her coaches!

Congratulations to Level 9 gymnast Amanda Condreay on being invited to attend the Region 8 All-Star trip which will be held in Cancun, Mexico this August. Amanda did an exceptional job at the Level 9 Eastern Championships. Have fun!!
Congratulations to Level 10 gymnast Tiffany Brodbeck for receiving an athletic scholarship to Ball State University in Indiana. She will be starting in the fall and will compete for them this upcoming year. Great Job Tiffany!
Great Job to Kaitlin Green on being invited to and attending the elite developmental training camp at the National Training Center. Kaitlin and her coaches learned alot and worked very hard while they were there. She is pictured above with National Team Coordinator Marta Karolyi.
Congratulations to Kaitlin Green on winning the Silver Medal on Beam at Nationals. Kaitlin did an exquisite routine and captured the first ever top 3 finish from a LaFleur's athlete at Level 10 Nationals. Congratulations also to Amanda Condreay on her Bronze Medal All-Around performance and Morgan Marks on her Bronze Medal winning Bar routine at the Level 9 Eastern National Competition.
Nationals Bound!!! Congratulations to Level 10 gymnasts Kaitlin Green and Sarena Bumbarger on their spectacular performances at the regional competition. Both athletes will be on the National Team where they will compete at JO Nationals in Seattle, Washington. Morgan Marks, Amanda Condreay, & Taylor Short will also represent Region 8 at the Level 9 Eastern National competition in Mississippi. Congratulations to Level 10 gymnast Dali Lemezan for accepting a position to compete on the University of Florida gymnastics team. Dali has received a partial academic scholarship to the University where she hopes to compete this fall. We cant wait to watch her as a gator!
Regionals here we come! Congrats to all of the LaFleurs Optional Athletes on a great performance at the state meet. All gymnasts that performed in the All-Around competition have moved on to their Regional Meet. A special congratulations to Savannah Chavers, Taylor Short, and Natalie Humbert on their state titles. Our Level 9 Team even pulled out a surprising top 3 finish! Way to go girls.
State Meet Results
Congratulations to Senior Gymnast Kaley LaFleur, who has been accepted to West Chester University in Pennsylvania where she intends to continue her gymnastics by competing for them in the fall of 2009.
Congratulations to Amanda Bertorello and Kaitlin Green for Qualifiying to the 2009 US Challenge. Both gymnasts qualified in Colorado this past weekend and will be representing LaFleur's at this prestigious meet in July. Read more here and view photos here.

Congratulations to Rachel Whisennant, Savannah Chavers, Allie Heller, and Amanda Ismaili on being selected to represent the state of Florida in the National Judges Cup Level 7 meet. These gymnasts were selected among the top Level 7 athletes in the state, and LaFleurs will have more gymnasts represented than any other club in Florida. Good Luck Girls!

Dali Lemezan for scoring a perfect 10.0 on vault in the finals competition
at the Kurt Thomas Invitational Meet. It was a great vault with a perfect

CONGRATULATIONS TO SARENA BUMBARGER....LEVEL 9 EASTERN NATIONAL ALL-AROUND
CHAMPION!!! LaFleur's own, Sarena Bumbarger, won the national titles
on Bars, Floor, and in the All-Around in the Senior A division in Orlando,
Florida. Sarena is the only gymnast from region 8(the southeastern U.S.)
that won a National All-Around title at the prestigious competition.
Congratulations to Sarena, and her coaches David & Laura on an outstanding
accomplishment!
